When you create an account, we collect the email address and password (or the sign-in provider) you provide. We also process the home-inventory photos, item details, report data, and other information you choose to add to your inventory.

Your inventory may include information about your belongings. Please use care when deciding what to upload and do not upload information you do not want included in your documentation record.

A guest preview record that is not saved to an account is deleted 7 days after upload, along with its photo.

We use account and inventory information to operate the service, provide your reviewable inventory and report preview, respond to support requests, maintain and improve the product, and help protect the service. Item descriptions and estimated replacement-value ranges are generated by sending your photo to an AI vision model under a contract that does not permit the provider to train on your data.

AssetLedger uses analytics and advertising measurement tools that may collect information about device, browser, pages viewed, and interactions with the site. We use that information to understand site performance and advertising measurement.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the information we handle. No online service can promise absolute security, so you should use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.

You may contact us to ask questions about your account or the information associated with it, or to request deletion of your account and its data. We will respond based on the information available to us and the operation of the service.

We may update this policy as the service changes. If we do, we will post the updated version here and update its effective date.
